Description
Bastion Falls will be the first waterfall that you see along the Kaaterskill Falls trail. Although Kaaterskill Falls is the more dramatic and much taller of the falls, I find that Bastion Falls - especially when its running hard (look close) over shooting vegetation; normally exposed and expanding it's path to accommodate added water volume, makes for quite the experience and is way too beautiful to rush by.
