My favorite spot on earth is Acadia National Park / Mt. Desert Island / Bar Harbor. This is simply a spectacular area, with pink granite cliffs meeting the Atlantic Ocean, mountains, and some of the most beautiful forested land you could ever hope to take in.
This image is of the Margaret Todd. The Todd is a center piece in Bar Harbor; a schooner that takes tourests around Frenchman's Bay and the Porcupine Islands. I captured this image of her sailing as my family and I headed out on a nature cruise. In the background you will see the early signs of autumn on Mt. Desert Island. The thin clouds allowed for a beautiful lighting set up that made the autumn colors pop and the white of the Margaret Todd to not be blown out.
